Onscreen Help:

The InfoEd Grants Management system has Help documentation designed to answer screen-specific questions. Question mark icons are sprinkled throughout the InfoEd proposal screens to explain the various screen options.

InfoEd Online Training Site:

The InfoEd Simulation Training Site, is a place to view simulations of various modules of the InfoEd system. The web simulation will mimic the various options of the InfoEd system, from logging into the application to filling out a proposal. The training site will be available 24x7 for users to observe any areas of the application they may need clarification for their work.

The infoEd Module UserGuides comprises the various compliance modules of the InfoEd system and describes how each module can be used and how they affect each other.

The InfoEd suite includes:

  • Proposal Development; Proposal Tracking;
  • Project Management;
  • Compliance Systems, Human Subjects, Animal Care and Use, Biosafety,
  • Technology Transfer modules, and
  • The company's popular funding opportunities and CV database service, SPINPlus.

InfoEd Review Articles:

Classes and Open Labs:

Structured classroom training will be made available through OSRP for members of the IRB, Administrators, Principal Investigators and students as it affects Proposal Preparation.

The Training Services will be in the form of open labs where users will be able to practice using a test application of the InfoEd grants management system. The training will cover Proposal Preparation, Proposal Tracking, Forms generation, routing of proposals, and other proposal preparation policies and procedures.

This training test application will allow investigators to develop a practice proposal, while leaving the production InfoEd server reserved for actual proposals in development for submission to sponsors. The InfoEd Training Server is available Monday to Friday for data to be entered and tested based on the procedures the Invesitigator is following for proposals for submission.

The classroom training will offer hands-on open user labs for infoEd users, new and experienced. An OSRP personnel will guide and answer questions or demonstrate various aspects of the InfoEd application.
