e-Learning and Workshop Development 

(for Grants Management System, Finding Funding, Proposal Development,  and Compliance Training instruction)

The mission of e-Learning and Workshop development is to provide instructional online complaince training using current and emerging technologies to expand course content and delivery for sponsored programs. To achieve this mission we collaborate with complaince committees acorss the campus.

The primary functions of e-Learning Technologies are to:

  • Introduce and provide training and support for faculty using current and emerging technologies for enhancing delivery of course content, (i.e. Flash Video (instructional use) Lectora, Camtasia video, Snagit,).
  • Provide instructional training and support for compliance training online using Moodle.
  • Administer and maintain the Moodle systems database.
  • Offer training intended to advance faculty compliance awareness).
  • Facilitate training and support for faculty using high end video editing systems to effectively create digital media to supplement content delivery (i.e. iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
  • Ensure that all online and classroom training resources adhere to Accessibility Policy and standards. See further information under the Web Access Project from the Office of Web and New Media.
