The Compliance section of the Office of Sponsored Research and  Programs (OSRP) oversees the following areas:

  • Institutional Review Board for Use of Human Subjects - IRB,
  • Health Insurance Accountability and Portability Act - HIPAA,
  • Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee - IACUC,
  • Environmental Health - Information regarding hazardous materials management, radiation safety, chemical hygiene, bloodborne pathogens, and respirator use,
  • Institutional Biosafety Committee - IBC,
  • Export Control,
  • Effort Report,
  • Intellectual Property,
  • Conflict of Interest,
  • Misconduct in Research - These draft procedures for Alleged Misconduct in Research and Creative Activities establish an administrative process for dealing with misconduct in research and creative activities, or allegations thereof, and
  • Technology Transfer
