Office of Sponsored Research and Programs
The Grants Resource Center (GRC) is a service of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU). Services include electronic updates on funding opportunities and web linkages to government, foundation and corporate web sites.
The GRC also provides assistance in communicating with sponsors, as well as monitoring federal activities related to topics of interest to higher education institutions.
With regards to the ARRA Stimulus effort, the GRC is providing ARRA funding links to these resources.
Grants Resource Center Deadlines:
The Grant Resource Center publishes monthly deadlines for funding opportunities from federal agencies and foundations that extend out to approximately four months from the publication of the list. These are organized according to discipline area, e.g. Education, Art, Science, etc. Each of the items has a link to a brief description of the program including a point of contact at the funding organization.
Additional information on many of these programs can be found at the organization's web site or in the SPIN electronic database. Updates on the Grant Resource Center occur on approximately the tenth day of every month.
Resource Tool:
The GRC web site allows for searching by keywords, CFDA Number, Sponsor and Subject area. The grant information is made accessible and convenient by allowing the user to search the funding opportunity database using five criteria: academic subject, activity, funding sponsor, deadline month, and text.
