  • The Office of Grants and Contract Accounting will assist with all reporting and post-award grant activity.

  • Negotiations for changes in agreement terms must be coordinated through the Office of Sponsored Research and Programs (OSRP).
  • OSRP will request approval from the sponsor in the event of any project commitment, budgetary, or term changes.
• Providing project development and implementation training
  • OSRP will provide Project Management Reviews for first time PI's.
  • OSRP sponsors funding seminars, proposal development, and proposal management workshops.
  • Development of Web-based Compliance Training Courses.
• Providing limited funding for travel to speak with prospective sponsors
  • In cases where a well developed project idea would be significantly enhanced by a face-to-face meeting with a program officer, OSRP will share the cost of travel with the department or college.

The Office of Sponsored Research and Programs (OSRP) and the Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED) provide institutional approval for all external proposal submissions, accept grants, sign contracts on behalf of the University, and provide administrative support to the IRB, IACUC, IBC and other compliance committees.
