Graduate Assistants |
Academic Year: $7,340 or $9,730 (2008-2009; nine months)
Summer: $1,835 or $2,432.50 (2009 summer) Total: $9,175 or $12,162.50 GA's are limited to working 20 hours per week while classes are in session (Minimum 6 hours of graduate course work) For those budgets that reqiure hourly rates the GA stipends are equivalent to either $10.49/hr or $13.93/hr. See Graduate College Stipends page for detailed information. Course and student fees can be requested in a budget. Current fees are available at http://www.missouristate.edu/recreg/costs.htm When matching funds are required for a grant, it may be possible to waive these fees. Permission must be obtained from the Dean of the Graduate College Fringe: 0% Fee Waiver: Allotment of Fee Waiver Cost Scholarships started in Fall 2005 |

FRINGE: 0% Minimum Wage: As of January 1, 2008, the hourly rate for part-time employess will be $6.65 per hour, effective with the February 2008 payroll for hours worked in January. All hours worked by part-time employees in January 2008 must be reported on the new time cards with the new hourly rates. |
