Office of Sponsored Research and Programs
To support the facilitation of new ideas, the Office of Sponsored Research and Programs (OSRP) is making available to all faculty, and staff, engaged in research, access to a database that link keywords associated with the research interests of faculty at Missouri State University.
This will allow persons to search by Category (e.g. Education, Science, Agriculture, etc), the Last Name of the Researcher, and by Keywords, for persons who may share like-minded interests in research topics that offers the potential for collaboration and consultation between centers, departments, and colleges, as well as the potential for cross-disciplinary techniques towards finding solutions. A Directory of all researchers that have registered for SMARTS is provided, as well as a Report by Colleges.

Find Researchers by Category and Department
Search by Last Name of all researchers that share keyword interest
Search for Keywords associated with Researchers
Search for any terms (Name, category, keywords, etc.) by using a granular word filter
Generate a Report by College
As part of its mission in public affairs and the emphasis on using research as one means whereby we can expand the future of the university, Missouri State has as one of it goals the "incubating of new ideas".
